Rape festival happening in Ozoro, delta state Nigeria

The Ozoro men in Delta state, Nigeria are celebrating something refered to as the "RAPE FESTIVAL". Harming girls on the streets and damaging them psychologically all in the name of "Tradition" 


Allegedly these traditions were dropped years ago but was brought back because the chief priest of Ozoro community said the ancestors spoke to him and demanded the dead tradition be brought back to life which was sudden, catching the women off guard.


Most people said even if the women were warned why would that be something that should be practiced in 2026!!. And no man was moved. Which means even if their sisters were involved, it probably won't move them because it's supposedly fair cuz it's tradition.....well it's STUPID!!

 

Apparently ,the king of Ozoro wasn't aware of this sudden "DIVINE" intervention of the ancestors and didn't hesitate to put a stop to it ,after human rights got involved in the matter....he judged the entire chiefs who allowed that happen and even passed the judgment without thinking about the harm the pple and women would receive.


Either ways women's bodies shouldn't be treated as tools , especially in this time when pple know better.......

 SAY NO TO RAPE.....end pointless traditions ✊
